Govt Notifies Change of GST rates on Services recommended by GST Council 

The central government today notified the change in the rate of the tax on Goods and Services as recommended by the GST Council at its last meeting.

The Union’s Finance Minister, Arun Jaitley, chaired the 25th Good and Service tax  Board Meeting held on January 18. He has recommended changes in the tax rate in thirty-three Services. The Council has recommended many relief measures regarding Good and Service tax rates on goods and services that cover many sectors and products.

GST Rate Changes

The Board has also recommended the issuance of certain clarifications on issues related to Good and Service tax rates and the taxability of certain goods and services.
