INCOME TAX PAYMENT MADE EASY!!

The Income Tax Department has implemented several initiatives to make the process of filing an Income Tax Return (ITR) simpler during the past few years.

On the taxpayers’ income tax e-filing portal, the e-pay tax feature has been activated. There are many ways to pay income taxes, including debit/credit cards, pay-at-bank counters, online banking services, UPI, and RTGS/NEFT.

Currently, e-paying taxes may only be done through a small selection of recognized institutions, such as Federal Bank, Bank of India, and Kotak Mahindra Bank. It should be mentioned that the Kotak Mahindra Bank Payment Gateway is the sole means to pay taxes using apps like GPay and Amazon. The Income Tax Department has implemented a variety of initiatives over the past few years to streamline the Income Tax Return (ITR) filing process.
